This page is available free of charge for past and present clients of Ky-ean Appaloosa, Paint and Quarter Horse Stud to advertise any horses that they may have for sale. We also sell horses on a consignment basis so please contact us for further information on this. REGISTERED QUARTER HORSE GELDING
Chesnut gelding, registered AQHA, professionally started and trained. Has solid basic manouvers, side pass, turn arounds, roll backs, open and close gates, stops and back up. Been on trail rides with a green rider. This little horse is smart enough to be a performance horse, quiet enough to be a pony club horse and pretty enough to make a hack. Can be left for months at a time between rides without any problems, a little lunge and off you go.

TB/ASH GELDING This big gelding belongs to a neighbour of ours who has asked us to sell him for them as the horse is not being used and was not suitable for what they purchased him for. This gelding stands at 15.3-16hh (this is a guess I have not actually measured him as of yet), is branded and last had his teeth done(27.1.2010,dentists report available), checked over by our dentist/chiropractor and has been aged by our dentist at 14 years, which corresponds also with his brand. He is a quiet horse to handle and be around and was supposed to have originally come off a station in the NT where he was the managers personal mount. He is a nice natured horse, big and strong with plenty of bone and looks like he will cover allot of distance in a day. When we picked him up I caught him easily in a large paddock, he loaded easily onto the float and travelled without a problem. He went well under saddle and would best suit an intermediate adult rider, he does appear to have some education, will collect up when asked, you can do gates off him and has been ridden all over this property without a fuss. A nice big strong gelding for either a pleasure rider or adult PC compeditor.
